Job summary

Datadog is seeking a Deal Desk Analyst to partner with Sales Operations, Billing, Contracts and Legal to provide quoting and deal structuring support for the Global Sales Team. This hybrid role supports a growing organization with a focus on policy-compliant deal execution and cross-functional collaboration.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of related experience, strong attention to detail, and solid MS Office and analytical skills.

Qualifications

At least 2 years of experience in related processes such as sales operations, finance, sales strategy or sales enablement.
Working knowledge of revenue recognition principles.
Strong attention to detail.
Ability to multi-task.
Strong communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
Strong quantitative skills.
Strong MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills.

Responsibilities

Develop knowledge of licensing and pricing models to support global sales quoting and deal structuring.
Negotiate deals with customers while adhering to selling policies.
Address customer satisfaction issues after deal execution.
Act as a point of contact for pricing matters across stakeholders.
Collaborate with legal, contracts, sales operations, order management, revenue and finance.
Identify AI-powered automations to improve efficiency and scale operations.
