Rajah & Tann Singapore LLP seeks a Singapore-qualified Legal Associate to join its Debt Capital Markets practice. The successful candidate will work with partners on domestic and cross-border DCM transactions across Asia, advising issuers, underwriters and financial institutions on complex financing matters.

The role involves drafting and negotiating documentation for bond issuances, MTN programmes and other debt instruments, coordinating with counsel and regulators, and contributing to business

Competenze

• Singapore-qualified lawyer with 1 to 3 years' PQE.
• Experience in Debt Capital Markets, Capital Markets, Banking & Finance or Securities offerings from a reputable law firm.
• Experience advising on bond issuances, MTN programmes, securitisations or other debt financing transactions would be advantageous.
• Strong drafting, technical and transaction management skills.
• Commercially minded with the ability to work in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Mansioni

• Advise issuers, arrangers, underwriters and financial institutions on a wide range of debt capital markets transactions.
• Draft, review and negotiate transaction documentation relating to International bond issuances, MTN programmes, straight bonds, equity-linked bonds, Sukuk and other Islamic finance instruments, bank capital instruments, and debt restructurings.
• Assist in structuring and executing cross-border debt offerings and capital market transactions.
• Conduct legal due diligence and advise on regulatory, disclosure and compliance requirements.
• Coordinate with local and international counsel, regulators, trustees, paying agents and other transaction parties.
• Support business development initiatives and contribute to thought leadership in capital markets and financing developments.
