Job summary

Bank of China Singapore Branch is seeking a senior Debt Capital Markets Syndicate Head, Deputy Director, to lead the DCM Syndicate function from Singapore. You will manage origination, pricing, and allocation for bonds across global clients, reporting to the DCM Head of Department in Singapore.

Qualifications

• 10–18 years of experience in Debt Capital Markets, Debt Syndicate or related function.
• Extensive experience in APAC bond markets, preferably Singapore, Hong Kong, Greater China and SEA.
• Proven track record in senior roles for investment-grade and/or high-quality bonds.
• Strong pricing, bookbuilding, allocation and investor distribution knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Lead DCM Syndicate from Singapore for Chinese, Singapore and international issuers across APAC.
• Direct execution from launch through price setting, allocation and settlement.
• Advise on deal size, tenor and pricing based on market conditions and investor feedback.
• Oversee bookbuilding, investor demand and distribution analysis.
• Coordinate with Sales on investor feedback and adjust terms accordingly.
• Build connections with asset managers, SWFs, pensions, insurers and banks across regions.
• Drive allocation decisions based on investor quality and issuer preferences.
• Monitor primary/secondary bond markets and provide market colour.
• Collaborate with DCM origination and issuance-window teams; ensure policy/regulatory compliance.
• Develop and mentor a high-performing DCM Syndicate team.
