Job summary

IBM Consulting ASEAN is seeking an experienced Day 2 Operations Tech Lead to join our Public Sector Data & AI practice. You will lead a team responsible for ongoing operations and continuous improvement of enterprise data and AI platforms deployed in a government data center environment.

You will serve as the primary technical authority for Day 2 operations, mentor your team, and engage with client stakeholders to ensure SLA commitments and platform health are met.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee Day 2 operations activities to ensure platform stability, performance, and service levels.
• Act as the primary technical escalation point for SRs, CRs, incidents, and problems.
• Oversee CVE patching, platform upgrades, and compliance with security policies.
• Establish and enforce runbooks, playbooks, and SOPs for managed solutions.
• Drive remediation of technical debt, bottlenecks, and operational risks.
• Oversee user onboarding/offboarding across managed platforms and IAM policy compliance.
• Lead and develop a team of Day 2 consultants, managing workload and proactive maintenance.
• Coordinate handover of new solutions into steady-state operations.
• Engage solution partners to understand lifecycle and plan upgrade roadmaps.
• Act as Day 2 technical point of contact for client stakeholders and prepare health reports.
