Job summary

Apar Technologies Pte. Ltd. in Singapore seeks an experienced OpenShift Platform Engineer to manage OCP, perform upgrades, and drive Day 2 operations.

You will lead an engineering team delivering secure managed services and coordinate ITIL-aligned handling of requests and changes. The role requires OpenShift hands-on experience and certification, strong enterprise operations knowledge, and leadership capabilities across consulting or corporate environments.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in technology operations, platform engineering, or technical consulting roles.
• Hands-on expertise with Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform (OCP) and Red Hat OpenShift Administration Certification (or equivalent) is required.
• Strong understanding of enterprise platform operations, ITSM processes, and managed services delivery.
• Experience leading technical teams in enterprise or consulting environments.
• Python scripting, automation, monitoring tools, and ETL platforms such as Talend will be an advantage.
• Exposure to AI/ML platforms such as H2O.ai and containerized application environments is preferred.
• Prior experience supporting Public Sector.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage and support Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform (OCP), including cluster administration, workload deployment, patching, upgrades, and Day 2 operations.
• Lead a team of platform engineers or technical consultants to deliver stable and secure managed services.
• Handle Service Requests, Incident, Problem, and Change Management in accordance with ITIL best practices.
• Plan and execute CVE vulnerability assessments, security patching, and platform upgrades with minimal service disruption.
• Perform platform monitoring, log reviews, root‑cause analysis, and proactive issue resolution.
• Collaborate with infrastructure teams, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure platform availability, performance, and security.
