Job summary

GovTech is seeking a senior data science leader to drive the DSAI COE's strategy and execution. You will manage project teams, guide complex ML solutions, and partner with IT and business units to deliver high-impact, public-service outcomes.

You will mentor data scientists, advance MLOps practices in the cloud (AWS), and stay at the forefront of AI innovations, ensuring robust, explainable, and scalable solutions across Singapore's public sector.

Qualifications

• 10 years of hands-on data science experience with at least 3 years leading data science project teams.
• Masters in Computer Science / Data Science / AI / Operations Research.
• High proficiency in problem solving using MECE or root-cause analysis.
• High proficiency in MLOps with end-to-end model development and deployment in the cloud (AWS).
• Deep learning algorithms and architectures (transformers, RL).
• AI Engineering including neural embeddings and GenAI systems (LangChain, LangGraph).
• Experience with data engineering for data science (ELT, databases).
• Excellent communication and visualization abilities.
• Advanced programming in Python, R, SQL, and shell languages.
