Job summary

GovTech Singapore is seeking a seasoned leader to head Singpass Data Science and AI, delivering trusted analytics, product‑driven insights and scalable AI capabilities for public‑sector digital services.

You will define strategy, build a high‑performing team, collaborate with product, security and risk functions, and ensure responsible deployment of data and AI across mission critical systems.

Qualifications

• At least 8 years of experience leading data science, ML or applied AI teams, with 3+ years in a supervisory capacity.
• Strong foundations in statistical modelling, ML, experimentation and modern data platforms.
• Excellent product judgement and ability to prioritise based on outcomes.
• Experience bringing DS/AI capabilities from exploration to production.

Responsibilities

• Define and lead Singpass Data Science and AI strategy across Trust, Data Platform, Product Analytics and Applied AI.
• Build reusable data capabilities and data products to support decision making.
• Lead, hire and develop Singpass’ data scientists and AI practitioners.
• Ensure secure and responsible use of data and AI with governance and risk partnerships.
