Job summary

Government Technology Agency (GovTech) seeks a Data Science Manager to lead SWDA’s data strategy, governance, and analytics. You will shape data policies, strengthen data foundations, and drive AI-ready platforms to enable data-driven decisions across the agency.

You will collaborate with business divisions, guide data projects, and foster partnerships to unlock opportunities in Singapore’s smart nation vision.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in data strategy and policy work.
• Strong strategic planning and critical thinking to guide SWDA initiatives.
• Ability to draw insights from data to support decisions and governance.
• Excellent written and oral communication across internal and external stakeholders.
• Proven leadership to manage teams and collaborate with multiple divisions.

Responsibilities

• Oversee data governance, policy, and strategy for SWDA to achieve outcomes.
• Strengthen data foundations, including data quality, governance, and AI readiness.
• Lead data platform and architecture efforts to support analytics and reporting.
• Develop insights, analytics, and algorithms for partners and officers; build partnerships.
