Job summary

Direct Search Global is seeking a proactive Procurement Executive/Assistant in Singapore to support product sourcing and procurement activities. You will liaise with suppliers, obtain quotations, compare pricing and lead times, and identify suitable products to meet customer requirements.

Qualifications

• Diploma or higher in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration or related field preferred.
• 1–2 years of procurement, purchasing or sourcing experience preferred.
• Detail-oriented and proactive with a willingness to learn.
• Good communication, coordination and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Receive and review sourcing requests from Sales.
• Liaise with suppliers for availability, specs, pricing, lead times and terms.
• Request, review and compare supplier quotations for cost-effective options.
• Evaluate pricing, quality and delivery to support quotes.
• Clarify specifications with suppliers when needed.
• Identify alternative products and suppliers when necessary.
• Coordinate samples and product information for Sales and customers.
• Maintain records of sourcing inquiries, quotations and costs.
• Follow up with suppliers to meet timelines.
• Communicate findings and recommendations to Sales.
• Support Sales in competitive sourcing and quotations.
• Build and maintain a supplier database, especially for non-standard products.
• Ensure sourcing complies with procedures and quality requirements.
• Perform other procurement, sourcing and admin duties as assigned.
