Job summary

The GMP Group is seeking an experienced procurement professional to lead sourcing and supplier development in a manufacturing environment in Singapore. You will manage RFQs, negotiate costs, and review contracts to protect company interests.

You will coordinate with internal teams to resolve supply issues, process orders, and prepare concise reports. This role requires 6+ years in procurement in electronics/manufacturing and a focus on cost-effective, compliant sourcing.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years of procurement experience, preferably in electronics/manufacturing.
• Manufacturing environment experience mandatory.
• Proven experience in sourcing, supplier development, RFQ management, cost negotiation, and contract review.

Responsibilities

• Source and develop alternative suppliers to mitigate supply risks.
• Focus on reducing costs without compromising quality or compliance.
• Review terms and contracts to secure best interests.
• Resolve supply-related issues including cargo damage, delays, or payment verification.
• Process daily purchase orders and coordinate spec/drawing changes with internal customers.
• Prepare summary reports and handle ad hoc requests.
