Job summary

OCBC Bank Singapore is seeking a Data Centre Facilities Engineer to oversee daily operations of our Data Centre facilities, ensuring safety, availability and cost-effectiveness.

You will manage 24/7 operations, monitor building services, drive sustainability initiatives and coordinate with vendors to maintain reliability.

This role requires a 5+ year background in data centre facilities in a critical environment with strong DC systems knowledge and stakeholder collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of data centre facilities management in a CII environment.
• Experience developing next-generation data centre strategies is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide 24/7 oversight of the data centre facility, including security and access control.
• Monitor building services to ensure optimal performance of DC systems.
• Lead sustainability initiatives, focusing on power usage and efficiency.
• Manage maintenance and daily operations to ensure uninterrupted service.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors to maximise safety and reliability.
• Plan and execute significant planned and emergency maintenance events with controlled execution.
