Job summary

E-Cruit Team Pte Ltd is seeking a Data Centre Technician to join our on-site team in Singapore. You will handle tickets related to data centre equipment, network and infrastructure, and perform hardware replacements and fibre testing to ensure uptime.

You will work with network engineers and sysadmins to resolve issues, maintain equipment records, and support storage, backup and disaster recovery systems. Immediate start is preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Computer Science, IT or related field.
• Training provided.

Responsibilities

• Handle and resolve tickets related to data centre equipment, network and infrastructure issues.
• Troubleshoot hardware and network problems and escape complex issues when required.
• Perform hardware replacement and upgrades for servers, switches, routers and other equipment.
• Perform fibre cabling, patching and fibre optic testing.
• Conduct preventive maintenance to ensure equipment reliability and minimise downtime.
• Maintain accurate records of equipment, cabling changes, configurations and troubleshooting activities.
• Work with network engineers, system administrators and other teams to resolve technical issues.
• Support data storage, backup and disaster recovery systems.
• Monitor data centre cooling, power supply and other environmental systems.
• Perform other ad-hoc duties as required.

• Salary Range: Up to $3500

• Able to start work immediate or on short notice
