Job summary

Visa Hunt is partnering with a leading data center and ICT services provider in Singapore. The role involves supervising and mentoring junior staff, ensuring uptime by maintaining critical power, cooling, and fire protection systems, and leading infrastructure upgrade projects.

Ideal candidates hold a degree or diploma in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, with 2–3 years’ data centre or M&E experience, and must commit to a 12-hour rotating shift at Bedok/Woodlands.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Min 2-3 years of relevant experience in Data Centre or M&E experience in building/construction industry.
• Strong technical and functional skills and knowledge of facilities management and operations.
• Able to commit to 12 hours rotating shift duty.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and mentors junior staff on the required daily maintenance and operations of the data centre facilities to ensure serviceability of all active and redundancy equipment.
• Responsible for maintaining and operating critical infrastructure systems such as power, cooling, and fire protection to ensure continuous uptime.
• Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance, lead infrastructure upgrade projects, and coordinate with contractors and vendors.
• Managing risk, responding to incidents, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Focus on improving energy efficiency and sustainability within the data center.
