Job summary

Dynamic Human Capital Pte Ltd on behalf of a Singapore-headquartered data centre client is seeking a Senior Data Centre Support Engineer (Electrical) to safeguard critical electrical infrastructure in a 24/7 data centre environment.

You will act as Electrical SME, troubleshoot, provide specialist support for LV/MV distribution, GIS, UPS, generators, switchgear, and ATS/STS, ensuring reliability and uptime of mission-critical systems in Singapore.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years in 24/7 mission-critical facilities operations or similar.
• Strong knowledge of LV/MV electrical distribution systems.
• Hands-on with GIS, UPS, generators and switchgear.
• Experience conducting RCA and resolving electrical issues.
• Understanding of redundant configurations for high availability.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialist engineering support for critical electrical infrastructure 24/7.
• Support LV/MV distribution system operation and maintenance.
• Troubleshoot faults and perform RCA to identify root causes.

Senior Data Centre Support Engineer (Electrical)

About the Role

Our client is a Singapore-headquartered MNC data centre provider seeking a Senior Data Centre Support Engineer (Electrical) to support its mission-critical electrical infrastructure. As an Electrical Subject Matter Expert (SME), you will provide technical support, troubleshoot operational issues and ensure the reliability and availability of critical electrical systems.

Up to $7,500 + up to 3 months VB

Work Locations: Taiseng Data Centre, Singapore

Monday - Friday: 830am - 6pm (on site)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialist engineering support for critical electrical infrastructure supporting 24/7 data centre operations.

• Support the operation and maintenance of Low Voltage (LV) and Medium Voltage (MV) electrical distribution systems.

• Troubleshoot electrical faults and conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to identify underlying issues and recommend corrective actions.

• Support the reliability and performance of Gas Insulated Switchgear (GIS), Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) systems, generators, main switchboards, Automatic Transfer Switches (ATS) and Static Transfer Switches (STS). (Hands-on)

• Identify and resolve operational issues across complex electrical systems operating in redundant configurations.

• Recommend improvements to maintain high levels of electrical system reliability, availability and performance.

Requirements

• Minimum 3-6 years of relevant experience in critical facilities operations, maintenance, project management or infrastructure development within a 24/7 mission-critical environment.

• Strong technical knowledge of the operation, maintenance and troubleshooting of LV and MV electrical distribution systems.

• Hands-on experience with critical electrical equipment, including GIS, UPS systems, generators, main switchboards, ATS and STS.

• Experience conducting RCA (Root cause analysis) and resolving electrical system issues.

• Good understanding of redundant electrical configurations and their role in maintaining operational continuity.

• Proven ability to manage complex electrical systems and ensure reliable performance in a critical facilities environment.
