Job summary

DayOne Data Centers is seeking a dedicated Shift Technician to monitor and maintain critical data centre infrastructure. You will handle cooling, power, UPS, and fire suppression systems, respond to alarms, and support new system deployments.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or IT and 2+ years in data centre operations, with strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills for a fast-paced, 24/7 environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, IT or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in data centre operations or similar role.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain critical infrastructure systems (Cooling, power, UPS, generators, fire suppression).
• Respond to alarms and incidents; troubleshoot and repair as needed.
• Collaborate with team for shift transitions and continuous improvement.
• Document incidents and maintenance in the maintenance system.
