Job summary

CBRE Data Center Solutions is seeking a Shift Technician to help maintain the safe, reliable operation of critical building systems within a data centre. You will perform planned maintenance, monitor systems, respond to alarms, and support repairs, reporting to the Shift Lead in a data centre environment.

This hands-on role requires building-services knowledge, critical-environment experience, and a strong commitment to safety, reporting accuracy, and customer service.

Qualifications

• Experience in building services and critical facilities environments.
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to read technical drawings and follow procedures.
• Experience with CMMS and BMS platforms.
• Commitment to safety, quality and accurate documentation.
• Ability to work rotating shifts and respond to incidents.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on electrical, HVAC, and building systems.
• Monitor BMS alarms, investigate faults, and carry out basic repairs.
• Prepare maintenance reports and ensure compliance with site/regulatory requirements.
• Deliver professional customer service and contribute ideas to improve reliability and service delivery.
