Job summary

CBRE Asia Pacific is seeking a Data Center Technical Team Lead to perform preventative maintenance and complex repairs within a large data center operation. You will lead a skilled technical team, coordinate daily activities, and ensure uptime of critical facilities.

This role requires hands-on technical expertise, licensure in electrical or HVAC, strong communication, and the ability to partner with tenants, vendors, and contractors.

Qualifications

• Apprenticeship or equivalent in a technical discipline; Journeyman Electrician or HVAC license preferred.
• Experience in staffing, training, coaching, and performance management is a plus.
• Ability to convey complex information and manage expectations across stakeholders.
• Willingness to work shifts including weekends/holidays.
• Must meet the physical requirements of a field role.
• Understanding of procedures and standards to solve moderately complex problems.
• Strong MS Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Excellent organizational skills and numerical aptitude.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage the team's daily activities, schedules, and cross-training.
• Improve preventive maintenance programs and maintain safety procedure manuals.
• Coordinate maintenance with contractors, tenant finish personnel, and technicians.
• Oversee building systems including fire/life safety, plumbing, HVAC, and electrical issues.
• Communicate with tenants, clients, owners, facility management, and vendors.
• Respond to emergencies and customer concerns.
• Lead by example in line with CBRE RISE values and align stakeholders.
• Apply multidisciplinary knowledge to achieve team objectives.
• Identify and resolve day-to-day and moderately complex issues.
