Job summary

CBRE Pte Ltd is seeking a Data Center Technician to perform preventive maintenance and corrective repairs within a Data Center operation. The role supports critical and technical services in client environments.

The technician will inspect mechanical and electrical systems, monitor BMS alarms, take meter readings, and coordinate with vendors to maintain safe and compliant operations. Training and safety adherence are emphasized.

Qualifications

Apprenticeship or technical training in a related field with 1–2 years of job-related experience.
Ability to work shifts that may include weekends and holidays.
Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the role.
Strong communication and basic math skills are expected.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Responsibilities

Perform preventive maintenance and corrective repairs on mechanical & engineering systems and technical equipment.
Ensure the site's environmental conditions provide a safe work environment.
React to Building Management System alarms and complete emergency repairs as needed.
Coordinate with third-party vendors and ensure compliance with processes and regulations.
Alert management if subcontractor performance does not meet requirements.
Complete planned preventive maintenance and reactive maintenance on all equipment.
