Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Data Center Technician in Singapore to perform preventative maintenance and corrective repairs within a data center operation. You will monitor mechanical and electrical systems, respond to alarms, and work with vendors to uphold safety and quality standards.

The role requires a technical apprenticeship or equivalent, ability to work shifts, and proficiency with MS Office. You will follow established processes, conduct routine quality checks, and help ensure reliable access to

Qualifications

Apprenticeship or equivalent in a technical discipline with 1–2 years of related experience.
Ability to work shifts including weekends/holidays.
Physical ability to meet the role requirements.
Basic math and ability to calculate simple figures (percentages).
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Strong communication skills and ability to present information clearly.

Responsibilities

Assist with daily site inspections of Mechanical & Engineering systems and equipment.
Ensure environmental conditions provide a safe work environment.
Respond to Building Management System alarms and complete emergency repairs.
Work with third-party vendors and ensure compliance with processes and regulations.
Complete planned preventative maintenance and reactive maintenance on all equipment.
Check BMS for running and alarm conditions and respond to HVAC-related client problems.
Provide fixes to facility and plant faults and defects.
Follow established processes and ensure safety and quality records.
Complete required training to ensure successful completion of responsibilities.
