Job summary

JLL is seeking a Data Center Operations Associate in Singapore to support daily IT and data center operations. The role involves first-level technical support, handling customer requests, hands-on infrastructure tasks, and ensuring smooth facility operations.

You will perform rack/stack, cabling, testing, and remote hands tasks; manage shipments; update service and change tickets; and collaborate with vendors and clients on projects. Strong communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree, Nitec or Diploma in a related field.
• 1–2 years of data center experience or strong IT hardware/software knowledge.
• Experience with Microsoft server products and basic power concepts.
• Proven ability to perform rack/stack, cabling, decommissioning and remote hands tasks.
• Experience with logistics, inventory tracking and database updates.
• Follow SOPs and manage incident/change tickets.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Handle customer requests via phone, email and ticketing systems.
• Provide basic technical support and troubleshoot hardware/software issues.
• Escalate complex issues to Level 2 and track tickets through resolution.
• Perform hardware installation, rack/stack, cabling, testing and decommissioning.
• Provide remote hands support including power cycles, replacements and testing.
• Coordinate incoming/outgoing shipments and verify equipment deliveries.
• Support service management by creating/updating/closing tickets.
• Assist with physical access and security in the data center.
• Support PME and other operational activities.
• Maintain inventory, cabinets and consumables; conduct physical audits.
