Job summary

JLL in Singapore is seeking a multi-skilled Facilities Technician to act as the technical backbone for building operations and tenant comfort. You will oversee daily systems, coordinate vendors, and maintain essential infrastructure within a mission-critical environment.

The role requires 1+ years in data centre maintenance, ACMV/electrical exposure, and strong communication. On-site 12-hour shifts and liaison with management are key components of daily duties.

Qualifications

• High school diploma with 2 years in trades or equivalent.
• ACMV and electrical engineering background preferred.
• Minimum 1 year in data centre engineering and maintenance.
• Experience supervising vendors.
• Strong written and oral communication.
• Familiarity with ACMV, mechanical, electrical and fire systems.
• Proficient in MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Complete daily facility checklists and ensure systems operate efficiently.
• Supervise third-party vendors and preventive maintenance.
• Monitor electrical and mechanical equipment and troubleshoot.
• Respond to helpdesk tickets and close records.
• Schedule equipment downtime with minimal operational disruption.
• Process permits to work and air-conditioning extension requests with landlord.
• Maintain service reports and database records.
• Escalate issues to the Assistant Manager per procedure.
