Job summary

Leaseweb Singapore PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a Data Center Operations Engineer to manage server provisioning, hardware deployment, and on-site support in APAC data centers.

You will work a standard 9am–6pm schedule, with on-call duties once per month and occasional travel to other data centers. Strong Linux, server hardware, and network basics are essential; Mandarin/Japanese skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• At least one year of hands-on data center experience with servers.
• Knowledge of Linux operating systems and hardware components.
• Basic network knowledge (DNS/IP/Netmask).
• Good written and spoken English communication.
• Willingness to travel internationally (<10%).
• Valid driver’s license is required.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, relocate, and remove servers in data centers.
• Assist customers with on-site server installations.
• Upgrade/downgrade server hardware (memory, disks, etc.).
• Handle hardware replacements and related admin tasks.
• Test servers per global standards and coordinate with APAC remote hands.
• Support installation/adjustments at remote locations.
