Job summary

Leaseweb Asia Pacific Pte. Ltd. is seeking a hands-on Datacenter Operations Engineer to manage server provisioning, installation, and lifecycle within our APAC data centers (Singapore, Japan, Hong Kong, Australia).

The role includes support for end users, on-call duty, and coordination with remote hands partners across the region. You will work Monday to Friday, 9am–6pm with occasional early starts for Australia/Japan support; on-call about one week per month, with a monthly EOD payment of

Qualifications

At least 1 year hands-on experience in a data center with servers.
Knowledge of various operating systems, especially Linux.
Knowledge of hardware (servers, switches, KVM, hard drives, memory).
Basic network knowledge (DNS/IP/Netmask/gateway).
Certificate or degree in Computer Science or similar, preferably with tech emphasis.
Professional English communication.
Valid driver’s license.
Ability to travel internationally (<10%).
Bonus: Mandarin/Cantonese/Japanese language ability.
Bonus: basic SAP knowledge.

Responsibilities

Installation, configuration, relocation, and removal of server equipment at the data center.
Assist customers within data centers with racks/servers.
Upgrade/downgrade server equipment (memory, disks).
Replace hardware and handle related administrative tasks.
Test servers and equipment per global standards.
Coordinate with APAC remote hands partners for installations at remote locations.
