You will manage customer orders received via email and phone, verify details, and coordinate fulfillment to ensure smooth delivery. You will identify and develop opportunities, prepare quotations, and work with sales, operations, and service teams to grow revenue. Strong communication and organization are essential to maintain relationships and meet commitments.

Qualifications

• Diploma qualification or equivalent required.
• 2+ years in sales or inside sales or related role.
• Proven ability to prospect and develop new business opportunities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Strong organization and multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
• Detail-oriented with good follow-through.

Responsibilities

• Process customer orders received via email and phone, ensuring order details are accurately verified, entered, and coordinated through fulfillment.
• Communicate product availability, stock status, backorders, and delivery dates timely and professionally.
• Identify and develop opportunities to increase sales by recommending complementary products and analyzing purchasing history.
• Own and develop sales opportunities generated by marketing and internal teams with guidance.
• Prepare, issue, and follow up on quotations to convert opportunities into sales.
• Analyze lost opportunities and customer feedback to identify improvements.
• Monitor open customer orders and address items at risk of delay.
• Maintain backorder and expediting reports and related communications.
• Monitor industry trends and pricing, providing insights to management.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships and identify repeat revenue opportunities.
• Collaborate with sales, operations, customer service, and distribution to ensure satisfaction.
