Job summary

CBRE Singapore is seeking an experienced Facilities Management Lead to oversee on-site operations, coordinate with technicians and contractors, and ensure business continuity for the client. The role requires strong electrical/mechanical background and hands-on CMMS/BMS experience.

You will manage permits, inspections, risk assessments, and a range of maintenance tasks across electrical, mechanical, and fire safety domains while mentoring junior staff and coordinating with senior engineers.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years’ experience in data centre/critical environments.
• Strong technical background in electrical or mechanical engineering.
• Experience with CMMS and BMS systems.
• Experience with permit-to-work processes.

Responsibilities

• Adhere and support the facilities management strategy for the agreed client contract.
• Oversee the facilities management service, including ad hoc maintenance, fire, mechanical, electrical support to ensure business continuity.
• Manage site operations to minimize disruption to the client’s business operations.
• Lead on-site activities of shift/day technicians and vendors/contractors.
• Supervise and mentor technicians; support Senior Engineer in performance goals and coaching.
• Provide site coverage via shift rosters and hours of operation.
• Raise and sign off work permits; coordinate with groups to optimize schedules.
• Conduct inspections and reviews to ensure cost effectiveness and continuity.
• Perform risk assessments to support site risk reduction strategies.
• Comply with CBRE Environmental policies and procedures.
• Research, learn, and perform operational duties with minimal supervision.
• Carry out routine maintenance and monitoring tasks (meters, UPS, chillers, lighting, etc.).
• Update site log and inform next shift technicians and senior engineers.
• Perform system isolations and switching of supplies for maintenance.
• Operate emergency plants (generators, chillers) and log operations during tests or emergencies.
• Support maintenance of electrical & mechanical infrastructure per manufacturer recommendations and SOWs.
• Develop, review, implement and audit MOPs, SOPs, and EOPs.
• Develop understanding of building infrastructure and layout, functions and complexities.
• Ensure daily and future compliance with safe practices and standards.
• Escort/vendor management when required and support internal day technicians.
• Support shift leads during their absence.
