Job summary
ST Engineering Cloud and Data Centre Solutions Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking a highly skilled Electrical System Design Engineer to join our dynamic team. You will design and optimize electrical systems for data centre facilities, ensuring reliability, efficiency and compliance with building codes.
The ideal candidate has a degree in Electrical Engineering and 2–5 years of experience in mission-critical infrastructure, with proficiency in CAD software and Visio, and a collaborative approach
Qualifications
- Degree in Electrical Engineering required.
- 2–5 years of experience in electrical system design for mission-critical infrastructure or data centres.
- Familiarity with data centre design standards and codes.
- Proficient in CAD software and Visio.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop and optimize electrical system for data centre facilities, ensuring performance, reliability and efficiency standards.
- Specify and select electrical equipment (Generators, UPS, Rectifier) and distribution to meet data centre requirements.
- Collaborate with department teams to optimize electrical system design with detailed engineering calculations.
- Work with project teams/consultants/vendors reviewing technical accuracy and outcomes.
- Prepare tender documents and technical specifications; perform technical evaluation of submissions.
