Job summary

Quess Selection & Services, Singapore seeks an Electrical Design Engineer to design systems for data centres, industrial and critical power projects. You will work on generators, UPS, transformers, MV/LV switchgear, ATS/STS and distribution networks, coordinating with customers and vendors.

The role requires a diploma/degree in Electrical Engineering and a minimum of 3 years in electrical design or project engineering, with strong AutoCAD and MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Electrical Design, Application, Proposal or Project Engineering.
• Experience in critical power, data centres, power generation or industrial electrical systems.
• Able to read electrical drawings and single-line diagrams.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Design electrical systems for data centres, industrial and critical power projects.
• Work on generators, UPS, transformers, MV/LV switchgear, ATS/STS and power distribution systems.
• Review customer requirements and prepare suitable technical solutions.
• Prepare and review electrical drawings, single-line diagrams and technical documents.
• Coordinate with customers, vendors and internal teams on project requirements.
• Provide technical support from tender stage through project completion.
• Ensure designs meet project requirements and relevant standards.
