WL POWER SOLUTIONS PTE. LTD. is seeking a Project Engineer to manage UPS and Energy Storage System projects for data centers and industrial clients in Singapore. This full-time, on-site role requires coordinating planning and execution, preparing technical designs, and supporting installation to ensure timely and safe completion.

You will liaise with clients and internal staff, monitor schedules and budgets, perform site inspections, and help drive continuous improvement across projects.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Entry level candidates may apply.
• Experience with UPS or energy storage systems is a plus.

Day-to-day tasks include coordinating project planning and execution, preparing technical designs and documentation, and supporting installation activities to ensure timely and safe completion. The role involves liaising with clients, supervisors, and internal staff to clarify requirements, resolve technical issues, and maintain clear communication throughout the project lifecycle. The Project Engineer will monitor progress against schedules and budgets, perform site inspections and testing, and ensure adherence to relevant codes, standards, and company procedures. This position also contributes to continuous improvement by identifying technical and process enhancements for future projects.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate project planning and execution to deliver UPS and Energy Storage System solutions on schedule and within budget for data center and industrial clients
• Prepare and review technical designs and documentation to ensure compliance with electrical engineering standards and project requirements
• Support installation activities by providing technical guidance and resolving on-site issues to maintain safety and quality standards
• Liaise effectively with clients, supervisors, and internal teams to clarify project requirements and ensure clear communication throughout the project lifecycle
• Monitor project progress against timelines and budgets, performing site inspections and testing to verify compliance with codes, standards, and company procedures
• Identify and recommend technical and process improvements to enhance future project delivery and operational efficiency
• Interpret electrical schematics and single-line diagrams to support design and troubleshooting activities
• Apply strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail to work independently and collaboratively within project teams in an on-site environment

Required competencies and certifications

• Degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
