Job summary

GOOGLE ASIA PACIFIC PTE. LTD. is seeking a cost estimating lead for data center projects responsible for cost estimation, benchmarking, and preconstruction commercial activities.

You will coordinate with project teams and APAC Estimating to ensure adequate budget and alignment with Global Estimating. Direct reporting will be to the APAC Region Estimating Manager. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience required.
• 5 years of experience in construction cost management and program management.
• Experience creating infrastructure designs (telecom, electrical, mechanical) and drawings for data center projects.
• Experience in pre-construction quantity surveying and cost estimating.
• Experience in design processes, procurement, and work package planning.

Responsibilities

• Own cost estimates, cost plans, and benchmarking; act as the contact between project teams and estimating team.
• Develop and maintain data center cost estimates for ongoing and new projects; provide analytics.
• Build trusted relationships with program stakeholders and provide insights for executive decision-making.
