Job summary

NTT Global Data Centers is seeking a Senior Cost Manager in Singapore to lead construction cost controls across APAC data center projects. The role focuses on budgeting, forecasting, and cost reporting to demonstrate competitive project delivery.

You will partner with design, engineering and project management to maintain control through the project life cycle and drive disciplined change management across programs.

Qualifications

• 7-10 years' experience with construction cost management responsibilities, including preconstruction planning, cost management strategies, cost coding structures, commits/spends/forecast processes, and reviewing contractor cost proposals.

Responsibilities

• Develop control systems to drive accurate assessment of financial position across construction projects, including budgeting, cost program development, forecasting, and payments review.
• Analyze large data sets using Excel and Microsoft tools to produce executive-level reports on financial position.
• Manage cost coding within the construction team and ensure integration with financial systems.
• Develop KPIs to monitor project performance and flag potential issues.
• Collaborate with design, engineering and project management to plan and control the project lifecycle.
• Coordinate with suppliers to meet financial reporting requirements (commits, spends, forecasts).
• Create internal and external benchmarks to support project decisions.
• Proactively manage budgets and potential budget impacts.
