Job summary

Mizuho Bank Singapore Branch is recruiting for a Data Analyst within the Singapore Corporate Banking Department's Business Planning and Control team. You will process data, check accuracy, and develop reports to support performance monitoring and decision making.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelors in CS/Math/Stats, 2–3 years in data analysis, strong Excel skills (Pivot, Macro, PowerQuery) and attention to detail; prior RPA experience is a plus. Strong communication and collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, mathematics, statistics, or related field.
• 2–3 years professional experience in data analysis or in a similar role.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel, Pivot, Macro and PowerQuery).
• Experience in using RPA will be advantageous.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Data processing work and data validation to ensure accuracy.
• Check data for errors and perform amendments as required.
• Data clean-up and revision to maintain clean datasets.
• Link data to staff in charge for target monitoring.
• Provide figures to stakeholders and management.
• Oversee project management for new and existing implementations.
• Update customer lists for new staff in charge and staff turnover.
• Daily reporting for balance figures and transactions.
• Maintain database reports for all published reports.
• Migrate databases for SEIBI implementations and ensure data integrity.
• Contribute to operational excellence and refine profit projections.
• Develop reports with new requirements for stakeholders within the department.
• Automate repetitive processes to improve efficiency.
