Job summary

AMBITION GROUP SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. is seeking a Banking Operations Analyst to manage bank accounts, reconcile balances, and conduct data-driven analyses within payment and funding operations.

You will collaborate with trading, sales support, and external counterparties while proactively flagging risks and optimizing processes. The role requires a Bachelor's degree and at least 1 year in banking or financial services, with a strong interest in data analytics, AI, and business analytics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in banking/financial institutions.
• Experience or strong interest in applying data analytics, AI, or business analytics within payment and funding operations is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate bank account details and balances using internal systems and external reconciliation tools.
• Perform research and analysis, including transactions requiring special handling and exception resolution.
• Identify opportunities to enhance processes, reduce operational risk, and improve the client experience.
• Collaborate with trading, sales support, and internal teams, plus external counterparties and agents.
• Elevate potential risks or exposures to management in a timely manner.
• Monitor daily balances, monthly fees and interest charges.
• Prepare and distribute daily MIS reporting.
• Participate in projects supporting the Exceptions Management team.
• Investigate cash-related inquiries supporting Prime Brokerage and cashiering activities.
• Perform ad hoc duties and project work as required.
