Zusammenfassung

Mizuho Bank Singapore Branch is offering an IT Operations internship to support day-to-day IT operations, service monitoring, and incident tracking. You will help maintain ITSM and CMDB records, develop operational dashboards, and participate in root cause analysis with a collaborative APAC team.

The role targets students pursuing degrees in Computer Science, IT, or related fields, with a keen interest in automation and data-driven operations.

Qualifikationen

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Strong interest in IT operations, service management, infrastructure support, and automation.
• Basic knowledge of ITSM concepts, CMDB, incident/problem/change management, or service operations is preferred.
• Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python, Shell, or Ansible will be an added advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to organize and interpret operational data.

Aufgaben

• Support day-to-day IT operations activities by assisting with service monitoring, incident tracking, and operational follow-up across relevant infrastructure and application support teams.
• Assist in maintaining ITSM and CMDB records by helping ensure configuration items, dependencies, and service attributes are accurately captured and kept up to date.
• Support operational analytics and reporting by gathering service data, consolidating key metrics, and preparing regular dashboards on service health, availability, incidents, and other KPIs.
• Help identify recurring operational issues and support root cause analysis efforts by organizing data, reviewing patterns, and documenting observations for the team.
• Assist in automating manual operational tasks and repetitive workflows using basic scripting or automation tools under supervision.
• Support the development and enhancement of process improvements to improve operational efficiency, consistency, and service quality.
• Work with internal stakeholders to collect required operational information, support issue resolution, and help coordinate follow-up actions.
• Assist in preparing operational updates, documentation, and presentations for team meetings, reviews, and governance discussions.
• Support ad-hoc operational tasks, data collection, and project-related activities as required by the IT operations team.
