Job summary

Qualifications

• At least five years of relevant professional experience in data governance, IT governance, corporate administration, or related functions.
• Strong knowledge of data governance, data-sharing, information management, compliance and risk-management principles.
• Experience in budget administration and secretariat coordination.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and stakeholder-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and drive initiatives to completion.

Responsibilities

• Partner the SP Chief Data Officer in driving data governance and Whole-of-Government compliance.
• Oversee inter-agency data-sharing requests and engage Data Owners and stakeholders for review and approval.
• Lead development and improvement of data governance standards, templates, guidance and knowledge resources.
• Manage departmental budgets, records and information governance, ensuring compliance and proper filing structures.
• Lead secretariat and coordination support for management meetings, committees and IT Disaster Recovery activities.
• Identify, evaluate and implement digitalisation and process improvements using government productivity and automation tools.
