Job summary

Tech Data APAC is seeking a Product Manager to drive sales and profit targets for its product groups, delivering maximum returns for Tech Data and vendors. The role focuses on sales enablement through programs, training, support, and strong vendor relations across the extended sales and partner networks.

The candidate will lead marketing initiatives, ensure trained pre-sales support, and coordinate across Tech Data functions to achieve revenue plans and strategic objectives within the IT

Qualifications

• Minimum 4–6 years experience within IT distribution.
• Experience with cyber security will be preferred.
• Appropriate vendor product sales certifications.
• Strong leadership attributes and a results focus.
• Self-starter with good business acumen.
• Ability to work with little direction and lead teams.

Responsibilities

• Creation of business plans for the vendor product group and services.
• Development and implementation of sales enablement programs for Tech Data and partners.
• Ensure that technical sales support teams are trained to support the product groups.
• Develop and implement marketing programs to meet product group objectives.
• Create joint initiatives with vendor and business partners.
• Plan inventory turns, fulfillment and obsolescence minimisation.
• Execute business plans to achieve vendor revenue targets and profit.
• Coordinate functions to deliver outcomes for each product plan.
• Maintain executive relationships with vendor partners and monitor new initiatives.
• Maintain vendor relationships and knowledge of sales processes and pipeline.
