Job summary

Marina Bay Sands in Singapore offers an internship within the CX Event Management team to support coordination from contract to completion. You will assist CX Event Managers in delivering exceptional experiences for clients and delegates.

We seek a full-time matriculated student committed for at least 6 months, with strong customer relationship skills, attention to detail, and a positive, collaborative attitude in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 6 months minimum commitment for internship.
• Applicant must be a full-time matriculated student.
• Internship must contribute to school graduation requirements.

Responsibilities

• Be part of a team of CX Event Managers who coordinate between clients and internal stakeholders/services for all event matters from signed agreement to event completion.
• Support event managers to enhance and optimize clients and delegates’ event experience with the Centre.
• Handle Event Business Management Software (EBMS).
• Handle Point of Sale system (POS).
• Handle Service Now service management system for online processes such as finance Debit Credit requests and carpark requests.
• Generate Event Summary and WSH reports on Event Portal.
• Generate and distribute Banquet Event Orders (BEO), change orders and group resumes.
• Work with CAD for floorplans with technical team.
• Prepare Proforma invoices for upsell orders and services.
• Collaborate with Group Reservations, Credit, Meeting Services, Banquets, and external vendors.
• Coordinate with CX Managers and other departments to fulfill organizers’ requests timely and thoroughly.
