Job summary

Smarte Carte is hiring for a customer service role in Singapore. You will handle customer inquiries, operate POS and BSS for baggage storage services, and perform daily cash reconciliations alongside opening/closing settlements.

Responsibilities include bag wrapping, upselling baggage services, and processing baggage deposits per SOP. You must be able to work weekends/PH on a rotating schedule and obtain an Airport Pass; Singaporean applicants only.

Qualifications

• Singaporean only.
• Able to obtain an Airport Pass (Airside).
• Able to carry up to 25 kg luggage.
• 6-day work week with rotating rest day.
• Weekend and public holiday shifts may be required.

Responsibilities

• Open and close settlements for POS and BSS for daily cash reconciliation.
• Wrap bags and upsell baggage services or products.
• Accept and issue baggage deposits per SOP.
• Conduct bag searches per SOP and follow security standards.
• Maintain store cleanliness and image.
• Other duties as assigned by management.

• Attend to customer inquiries and provide excellent customer service experience
• Perform cash and credit card transactions using Point of Sales (POS) and Baggage Storage System (BSS) for baggage storage and other services
• Perform opening and closing settlement for POS and BSS for daily cash reconciliation
• Perform bag wrapping service and upselling of baggage services or products
• Perform acceptance and issuance of baggage deposits according to Standard Operating Procedure (SOP)
• Conduct bag search in accordance to SOP and ensure compliance to security standards dictated by the management and Airport police
• Responsible for store cleanliness and image
• Any other duties as assigned by management

Job Specifications (Qualifications/Experiences)

• Familiarity with POS system will be on an added advantage
• Good interpersonal and communication skills

• Ability to converse in basic English
• Able to obtain an Airport Pass (Airside).
• Able to carry up to 25kg luggage 6-day work week with rotating rest day.
• Must be able to work on weekend and PH based on duty roster.

Shift Schedule

• Morning Shift - 6.50am to 3.10pm
• Afternoon Shift- 2.40pm to 11pm
• Night Shift - 1045pm to 7.05am
