Job summary

OCBC Bank, Singapore’s longest established bank, invites applications for an Assistant Manager, Marketing to plan and execute campaigns, engage customers and support events.

You will partner with Product, Segment, Wealth Marketing and Cards Marketing to deliver impactful experiences, strengthen value propositions and drive business growth. Fresh graduates welcome; up to 3 years' experience considered.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or related discipline.
  • Fresh graduates or up to 3 years in marketing welcome; internship experience a plus.
  • Strong interest in marketing, customer engagement and financial services.
  • Excellent project management, organization and multi-priority capability.
  • Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management, with collaboration across teams.
  • Analytical, detail-oriented with ability to interpret campaign data.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Curious and eager to learn about banking products, customer value propositions and journeys.
  • Self-motivated, proactive and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute marketing campaigns across digital and offline channels.
  • Coordinate campaign timelines, assets and materials for campaigns.
  • Assist in developing customer communications, marketing content and collateral.
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders, agencies and vendors to facilitate campaign execution.
  • Monitor campaign performance and prepare insights and recommendations.
  • Conduct market and competitor monitoring to support campaign planning.
  • Support budget administration, procurement and governance processes for marketing activities.
  • Partner with Product, Segment, Wealth Marketing and Cards Marketing teams for events and engagement programmes.
  • Coordinate event logistics and on-site operations when applicable.

The Assistant Manager, Marketing will play a key role in planning and executing marketing campaigns, customer engagement programmes and events. The role will partner closely with Product, Segment, Wealth Marketing and Cards Marketing teams to deliver impactful customer experiences, support business growth and strengthen the Bank's value propositions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Marketing Communications
    • Support the planning and execution of marketing campaigns and customer engagement initiatives across digital and offline channels.
    • Coordinate campaign timelines, creative assets and marketing materials to ensure timely and accurate delivery.
    • Assist in the development of customer communications, marketing content and campaign collateral.
    • Liaise with internal stakeholders, agencies and vendors to facilitate campaign execution.
    • Monitor campaign performance and support the preparation of reports, insights and recommendations.
    • Conduct market and competitor monitoring to support campaign planning and identify new opportunities.
    • Support budget administration, procurement and governance processes for marketing activities.
  • Events & Customer Engagement
    • Partner closely with Product, Segment, Wealth Marketing and Cards Marketing teams to identify opportunities for events and engagement programmes that support customer acquisition, engagement and relationship deepening.
    • Coordinate event logistics, registrations, venue arrangements, vendors and on-site operations whenever applicable.
    • Work with internal stakeholders and external partners to deliver customer engagement programmes and partnership initiatives.
    • Assist in developing event concepts and customer experiences that support engagement objectives.
    • Support event outreach and participant engagement activities to drive attendance and participation.
    • Track event attendance, engagement and feedback, and support post-event reporting.
    • Research customer interests, lifestyle trends and emerging event concepts to identify opportunities for future programmes.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or a related discipline.
  • Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
  • Candidates with relevant internship experience or up to 3 years of marketing experience will have an advantage.
  • Strong interest in marketing, customer engagement and the financial services industry.
  • Good project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities concurrently.
  • Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
  • Analytical and detail-oriented, with the ability to interpret campaign performance and customer insights.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Curious and eager to learn about banking products, customer value propositions and customer journeys.
  • Self-motivated, proactive and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
