Job summary

ESR Group seeks a Customer Solutions and Development Integration lead to translate customer demand into executable data-center development opportunities across ESR’s priority markets. You will link ESR’s customer pipeline with land origination, development, investment and in-country execution teams to ensure delivery within required market, location and timing.

Responsibilities

• Work with Customer Development and Commercial Strategy and the broader commercial team to understand customer requirements and translate them into clear, actionable development briefs.
• Ensure customer requirements are sufficiently defined before ESR begins targeted site searches or commits meaningful development resources.
• Mobilize ESR’s country, development, land, investment and infrastructure teams around qualified customer opportunities.
• Develop customer-led origination strategies and determine the most appropriate site, development, ownership and delivery solution for each requirement.
• Identify opportunities across existing ESR assets, controlled land, new sites, customer-owned locations, joint ventures and phased campus developments.
• Partner with ESR’s country development teams to validate that power, transmission, utilities, fiber, water and enabling infrastructure can support the customer’s delivery requirements.
• Maintain a regional view of customer demand against ESR’s existing assets, controlled sites and origination pipeline.
• Provide ESR’s country teams with common customer briefs, site-selection criteria, infrastructure standards, technical requirements and diligence frameworks.
• Work with the commercial and investment teams to ensure that proposed development solutions are compatible with customer economics, commercial structures and ESR’s investment requirements.
• Translate priority customer requirements into clear, actionable development and origination briefs.
• Create a visible pipeline of demand-aligned, power-backed and investment-ready opportunities.
• Match customer demand with ESR’s existing assets, controlled sites and new origination opportunities.
• Improve the conversion of ESR’s land, development and infrastructure capabilities into executable data-center projects.
• Establish a consistent customer-to-development governance and stage-gate framework across the region.
• Improve capital discipline by linking development expenditure to credible customer demand and validated infrastructure pathways.
• Ensure customer requirements remain connected to site selection, investment approval, concept development and transition into execution.
• Build a repeatable customer-solution capability across ESR’s broader development platform without duplicating existing country or development functions.
