Overview
The Technical Consultant is responsible for Dynamic CRM implementation and maintenance, developing portal and application back‑end in CRM, and creating interfaces through .NET web services and APIs. The primary responsibilities involve designing and developing CRM application layers and coordinating with other teams on infrastructure. Collaboration, sophisticated design, and quality delivery are essential.
Responsibilities
The Technical Consultant position combines the roles of implementation specialist and technical developer. You will manage planning and implementations, provide support to manager and client, and directly impact project success and firm growth.
- Gather requirements, prepare functional and technical specifications based on user sessions and customer input.
- Present specifications to management and incorporate changes.
- Architect and develop custom CRM solutions using CRM SDK, C#, and .Net.
- Configure Mailbox setup and Server‑Side Synchronization.
- Work with CRM Security Roles and Team setup.
- Manage CRM asynchronous processes, workflows, plugins and troubleshoot servers.
- Provide technical guidance to team members.
- Configure software modules for testing and deployment.
- Prepare training itinerary, materials and deliver training to end users.
- Execute cut‑over procedures during MS Dynamics CRM deployment as directed.
- Follow deployment guidelines, checklists and timelines.
- Assist with project status reports, timelines and budgets.
- Provide go‑live and post‑implementation support.
- Participate in requirement sessions to validate business cases and build prototypes.
- Design, build, maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code.
- Ensure application performance, quality and responsiveness.
- Identify and resolve bottlenecks, bugs, and performance issues.
- Maintain code quality and version control.
- Validate system performance by developing test scripts and fixing bugs.
- Conduct training programs to share technical and functional knowledge.
- Manage customer relationships, answer questions, resolve concerns.
- Deliver service per agreed Service Level Agreement.
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent work experience.
- At least 6 years of relevant experience with Dynamic 365 on‑premise and Online.
- At least 3 years with Power Platform, Power Apps, and Power Portal.
- At least 3 years with AWS or Microsoft Azure.
- Proficient in C# and object‑oriented programming.
- Experience in SOAP or REST web service development.
- Proficient in configuring Microsoft IIS.
- Proficient in code versioning tools such as TFS.
- Willing to work on implementation and maintenance projects.
- Willing to work on Government and Private projects.
- Ability to work in both SDLC waterfall and Agile projects.
