Job summary

HK SEATRANS PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks a dedicated crew management professional to oversee manpower planning, recruitment, and crew documentation within approved budgets.

You will coordinate work passes, rotations, training, payroll, and welfare, liaise with vessel owners and masters, monitor performance, address issues, and report progress and costs to management. Responsibilities span ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, maintaining employment records, and coordinating travel

Responsibilities

• Plan crew requirements and manage recruitment, salaries, and crew changes within the approved budget.
• Prepare recruitment advertisements, screen candidates, conduct interviews, and recommend suitable crew for management approval.
• Verify crew qualifications, experience, medical fitness, and the validity of all required certificates and licences.
• Prepare and maintain employment contracts, crew records, and joining documents.
• Coordinate work pass applications, renewals, cancellations, and other required submissions with the relevant authorities.
• Manage crew rotation schedules, sign-on and sign-off procedures, flights, accommodation, and transportation.
• Arrange required training and monitor certificate and licence expiry dates to ensure timely renewal.
• Coordinate salary payments, payslips, leave, medical assistance, and crew welfare matters.
• Liaise with vessel owners, ship managers, Masters, and crew to fulfil manning requirements and resolve operational issues.
• Monitor crew performance, address complaints and disciplinary matters, maintain a pool of qualified crew, and report recruitment progress, costs, and outstanding issues to management.
