Job summary

sggovterp seeks compassionate and technically skilled individuals to join the Mandai Operations Department. You will support crematorium operations, handle remains with utmost dignity, and ensure compliance with safety and documentation processes.

This role requires resilience, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to work independently across rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays, in a sensitive environment.

Qualifications

• Technical engineering background or equivalent experience.
• Ability to operate in an emotionally challenging environment with professionalism.
• Proficiency in basic record-keeping and computer applications.

Responsibilities

• Receive and verify documents and authorisations before cremation and ash collection.
• Operate cremation equipment in accordance with safety protocols.
• Handle human remains with dignity and care throughout the process.
• Maintain cremation and ash records per legal and internal procedures.
• Coordinate with funeral services providers and families to ensure smooth operations.
• Respond promptly to equipment faults and coordinate rectification.
• Maintain the crematorium facilities in a clean, respectful condition.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
