Job summary

Mount Alvernia Hospital seeks a Credit Control Executive/Senior Executive to assess credit risk and pursue timely payments from Self-Pay and Corporate Accounts. You will negotiate arrangements, monitor ageing, and maintain rigorous records while coordinating with internal stakeholders to resolve billing issues.

The role requires 3+ years in credit control or AR, degree or diploma in business/finance, strong communication skills, and proficiency in MS Office.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or an equivalent qualification.
• Proven experience in credit control, debt recovery, or accounts receivable (3+ years).
• Supervisory experience preferred and healthcare background is an advantage.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Proficient in MS Office and computer systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage and recover outstanding balances from Self-Pay and Corporate Accounts to meet targets.
• Follow up with customers and negotiate payment arrangements for settlement.
• Monitor overdue accounts and implement proactive collection strategies.
• Maintain accurate account records, documents, and recovery progress reports.
• Assess risk profiles and escalate complex or high-risk cases with recovery actions.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve billing and payment issues.
• Generate bills and Statements of Account accurately and promptly.
• Review Letters of Guarantee and monitor credit facilities; recommend suspensions as needed.
• Handle inquiries professionally and coordinate service recovery with departments.
• Support process improvement projects and system enhancements.
