HSBC Life is seeking a high-calibre professional to join our team as a Specialist Credit Control Reinsurance. You will manage queries, recoveries and communications for the assigned portfolio, coordinating with channel partners and internal departments.

The role focuses on regulatory reporting, run-off portfolio management in Power Apps, and meticulous cash and journal processing. Strong Excel skills and an analytical mindset are essential for success in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

Experience in credit control and/or finance/audit with a university degree or equivalent.
Strong end-to-end credit control knowledge and a results-driven mindset.
Experience managing multiple distribution channels (Brokers, Agencies, Agents, FA, Banca, Direct).
Knowledge of legacy and run-off transactions helps contribute to run-off activities.

Responsabilités

Account handling for the assigned portfolio, including queries and recoveries.
Produce MAS debtor ageing reports and calculate provisions for bad and doubtful debts.
Respond to operational queries to support efficient business operations.
Maintain regular communication with channel partners and coordinate actions across departments.
Raise PRF requisitions and review payment requests for reinsurance postings.
Review facultative reinsurance receipts and prepare journal vouchers for posting.
Ensure completeness and accuracy of commission statements and SOA management.
Assist with run-off portfolio reconciliation and follow-up activities.
Review SOPs and provide sign-off where required.
Prepare facultative RI workfiles for GI team meetings.
