Job summary

Canopius Group in Singapore seeks a role focused on technical accounting and credit control for Direct and Reinsurance classes, including investigating and clearing legacy transactions. The candidate will manage cash receipts, broker remittance queries, and premium collections while supporting internal and external reporting.

The role requires experience in AR/AP, bank reconciliations, and proficiency with Excel. Hybrid working is offered along with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

Experience in Direct and Facultative Insurance accounting is a plus.
Knowledge of Lloyd's business and operations would be advantageous.
Experience in accounts receivable and payable, bank reconciliations and cash accounting.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Computer literate and detail oriented.

Responsibilities

Review legacy cash receipts and outstanding items.
Chase cash collections from brokers and reconcile remittances.
Allocate receipts and payments for Syndicate operations.
Prepare credit control reports for management review.
Assist with allocation of premium collections and broker balances.
