Job summary

Trident Law Corporation in Singapore seeks a Corporate Law Associate for a full-time, on-site role. You will draft, review, and negotiate a range of corporate and commercial agreements and support corporate transactions.

You will conduct legal research, prepare opinions, and advise on governance, regulatory compliance, and transactional structures, while liaising with clients, authorities, and teams to deliver strategic, high-quality legal solutions.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in corporate and commercial law, incl. M&A and corporate governance.
• Proficiency in drafting and reviewing contracts, shareholders agreements, and investment documents.
• Evidence of legal research and ability to provide clear opinions and strategic advice.
• Effective client-facing skills; communicate complex issues clearly and build relationships.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with meticulous attention to detail.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities; handle multiple matters and deadlines.
• Collaborative mindset; work with partners, consultants, and team; independent judgment.
• Admission to practice law in Singapore; recognized law degree; corporate or disputes experience advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating corporate and commercial agreements.
• Conducting due diligence and supporting corporate transactions (M&A, JVs, restructurings).
• Liaising with clients, counterparties, and regulatory authorities.
• Preparing opinions and advising on corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and transactional structures.
• Collaborating closely with partners and teams to deliver high-quality legal solutions.
• Managing multiple matters and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
