Job summary

PKF-CAP CORPORATE SERVICES PTE. LTD. is recruiting an Associate (Corporate / M&A) for Singapore, seeking a lawyer with 1-3 years PQE to handle cross-border transactions in a fast-paced, international environment.

The ideal candidate will possess an LLB or JD from SG/UK/US, Singapore qualification, and strong drafting, analytical, and interpersonal skills to advise multinational clients and work with partners across jurisdictions.

Qualifications

• Singapore-qualified lawyer with 1-3 years PQE in Corporate and M&A.
• LLB or JD from Singapore, the UK, or the US.
• Experience from a reputable local law firm, Magic Circle firm, US law firm, or international law firm.
• Strong exposure to mergers and acquisitions, corporate transactions, corporate advisory, joint ventures, and related commercial matters.
• Excellent drafting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Advise clients on domestic and cross-border M&A transactions.
• Conduct legal due diligence and assist with transaction structuring.
• Draft, review, and negotiate transaction documents, including share purchase agreements and shareholders' agreements.
• Provide corporate advisory support on company law, governance, and regulatory matters.
• Work closely with partners and clients on complex transactions across multiple jurisdictions.
