Job summary

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Corporate Law Associate role based in Singapore.

The work responsibilties include drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a variety of corporate and commercial agreements, including shareholders’ agreements, investment documents, and transactional contracts.

The role involves conducting legal research, preparing opinions, and advising clients on corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and transactional structures.

The Associate will support and manage corporate transactions such as mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and restructurings, including due diligence and closing documentation.

Day-to-day responsibilities also include liaising with clients, counterparties, and regulatory authorities, preparing court or tribunal documents where necessary, and collaborating closely with colleagues to deliver strategic, high-quality legal solutions.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in corporate and commercial law, including experience with mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and corporate governance.
• Proficiency in drafting and reviewing contracts, shareholder agreements, investment documents, and other transactional instruments.
• Competence in legal research and analysis, with the ability to produce clear, well-reasoned legal opinions and strategic advice.
