Our client is an established energy organisation seeking a Corporate Paralegal to support its regional legal team. Based in Singapore, you will assist with corporate secretarial matters and business transactions, while coordinating and guiding fellow paralegals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain board and shareholder resolutions, meeting minutes and other corporate records.
- Support entity incorporation, joint venture arrangements, acquisitions and other corporate transactions.
- Coordinate with external legal advisers, corporate secretarial providers and regional legal teams.
- Organise and maintain contracts, statutory records and supporting documents for easy retrieval.
- Guide fellow paralegals and coordinate daily work within the team.
- Assist Legal Counsels with administrative matters and corporate secretarial requirements.
- Work with finance and project teams on corporate documentation and transaction support under the guidance of Legal Counsels.
Requirements:
- Diploma in Law and Management, Legal Studies or Paralegal Studies, preferably with a focus on corporate or company law.
- At least 4 years of relevant experience with a law firm or a legal or corporate secretarial services provider.
- Completed recognised corporate secretarial examinations, such as CSIS/MAICSA, or hold a relevant local legal qualification.
- Strong working knowledge of the Singapore Companies Act, with practical experience handling ACRA matters.
- Familiarity with company legislation and statutory filing processes in other Southeast Asian jurisdictions will be an advantage.
