Job summary

Careerstar International Pte Ltd is seeking a Cook to prepare and cook meals according to restaurant recipes and standards. You will ensure food quality, taste, presentation, and consistency while performing daily preparation and maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen.

The role requires knowledge of food safety and hygiene, ability to work independently or as part of a team, and willingness to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Previous working experience as a Cook is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of cooking methods and food preparation techniques.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Good understanding of food safety and kitchen hygiene practices.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals according to restaurant recipes and standards.

• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen and food preparation areas.

• Ensure proper storage and handling of food ingredients.
• Maintain kitchen equipment and utensils in good working condition.
• Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth and efficient daily operations.
• Perform other kitchen-related duties as assigned by the Head Chef or management.
